Greetings,
This summers, I finished my level three training and am now a certified Orff teacher. It was fun and incredibly exhausting. I was wondering if perhaps Orff levels training should be a mandatory part of music teacher training. I know it has definitely made me a better music teacher. Does anyone have any thoughts on the matter?
Cheers,
John

PS22
Greetings,
PS22 is a school in Staten Island. I don't know much about the teacher or the students, but I have come across their videos on facebook numerous times. I think they're quite remarkable, but I'm trying to figure out this style of choral singing fits within the greater context of music education . Please check them out and give me your thoughts.

First post on my new blog...for music teachers.
Greetings,
My name is John and I am a music teacher for kindergarten and first grade students in the village of Oak Park (just west of Chicago). I am starting this blog for an online class. My goal is to create a place for music teachers to share posts, links, songs or whatever they deem fit.
Cheers,
John
